Acoustiic develops a new platform for non-invasive surgery and disease treatment. It uses High Intensity Focus Ultrasound (HIFU) employing an array transducer with several thousand elements, allowing complete electronic steering. The system can be used inside an MRI machine. Initial clinical areas target liver and pancreatic cancers.
