Fujifilm medical systems is involved in diagnostic imaging and information systems. The company acquired: i) Sonosite in 2011 for $995 million; ii) Prosolv cardiovascular PACS vendor, in 2007. It continues to expand its presence in the medical IT market with the acquisition of TeraMedica, in 2015. Other products include the SYNAPSE 3D cardiovascular visualization tool, the FAZONE CB portable ultrasound system and probes, etc.
