Medge Platforms means “Medical Edge Platforms for Imaging”. The company’s goal is to provide state-of-art clinical tools using imaging processing software.
The first product (SONOCUBIC, a software for free-hand 3D/4D ultrasound rendering) was installed in 1999, and the product is FDA approved.
The second product, Volutracer O.P.U.S. is a high-fidelity ultrasound simulator. The patented optical positioning technology, high-precision metrics system, and automated reporting allow for more efficient academic teaching and a better learning experience when using the transducer in hand.
