- Mitral Regurgitation Assessment Using a Novel Automated 3D Color Flow Quantification: Comparison With 2D PISA and CMRby Kyu Kim, Seon Hwa Lee, Hyun-Jung Lee, Iksung Cho, Chi Young Shim, Jong-Won Ha, Young Jin Kim, Geu-Ru Hong on June 3, 2026 at 12:00 am
Accurate quantification of mitral regurgitation (MR) remains challenging with conventional two-dimensional (2D) echocardiography because of geometric assumptions and single-frame analysis. We aimed to evaluate the feasibility and performance of a novel automated three-dimensional color flow quantification (3D Auto CFQ) tool for MR assessment.
- Quantitation of Pericardial Fluid Volume: Volumetric Estimation Compared with Guideline-based Linear Gradingby Aidan R. Kane, Sushil Allen Luis, Jeffrey B. Geske, Jeremy J. Thaden, Vuyisile T. Nkomo, Garvan C. Kane, Jared G. Bird, Lawrence J. Sinak, Sorin V. Pislaru on June 3, 2026 at 12:00 am
The aim of this study was to compare guideline based linear and 2D echocardiographic measures against drained pericardial fluid volume in patients undergoing pericardiocentesis and determine whether volumetric quantification improves accuracy and categorical grading of pericardial effusion size.

Hahn on June 1, 2026 at 12:00 am
As the number of mitral valve transcatheter edge-to-edge repair procedures increases, there are catheter operators and interventional echocardiography operators performing these procedures with variable expertise. Expert imaging is paramount for the success of these procedures and requires knowledge of mitral valve anatomy, the ability to quickly manipulate two-dimensional (2D) and […]
